Barbara Ogden began creating dolls after her retirement in 1991, beginning with Swiss cloth dolls. All materials were imported from Switzerland. Each doll was hand painted by Barbara herself with the delicate features she has become so famous for. She acquired a registered trademark for the name “Oggie Dolls.”
Once she had perfected her cloth doll technique, she discovered her real love, dolls sculptured from polymer clay. Barbara has been sculpting dolls now for some eight years and has shown them at doll shows throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern regions of the United States as well as at Toy Fair in New York City. Now she is offering them to you on the internet.
While some of the dolls are no longer available, special orders to recreate any arrangement will be accepted. Special orders for other subjects can also be arranged.
